Good to Know
Send your logo as a vector file (.AI, .EPS, .PDF, .SVG) — vector scales to any size without losing quality, which matters when a logo has to stretch across a door or a trailer side. Raster files such as JPEG, PNG, and TIFF are resolution-dependent and need to be 300 DPI at the final size; a 72 DPI web image will not print cleanly.
Less than most people expect. A driver or pedestrian gives your vehicle three to five seconds, so we design for that: sans-serif type, which reads better at a distance, high contrast between copy and background, and 30 to 40 percent of the area left as negative space.
Give us your Pantone (PMS) numbers along with the artwork. PMS spot colors are what define an exact brand color, but large-format digital printing works in CMYK and is not an exact PMS match, so we work to get as close as the process allows.
